Lakeside Commons

A boutique lakefront residential community of 48 units blending natural stone and cedar cladding with floor-to-ceiling glass, framing panoramic views of the water. The design establishes a dialogue between built form and the Canadian Shield landscape while providing resort-calibre amenities.

The design process began with a deep understanding of the site and its context — the movement of light through the day, the relationship to neighbouring structures, and the rhythms of the people who would inhabit the space. Every material choice, spatial proportion, and threshold was considered as part of a coherent whole.

Working closely with the client through an iterative design-build process, we were able to maintain design intent from concept through construction — ensuring that what was imagined is precisely what was built.
